J. Nigel Ellis on A10 Committee
Dr. J. Nigel Ellis has been elected as a full member of the ANSI A10 Construction and Demolition Operations Committee as of July 7, 2007.
Dr. Ellis already is a member of the ANSI A10.32 Fall Equipment for Construction subcommittee. He now will be able to work closely with the various construction subcommittees on standards that relate to fall hazards, such as scaffolds, steel erection, tower erection, rigging, etc.
Fatal falls now make up about 36% of total construction deaths.
